Why is SEO Good for Your Customers?

Why do we develop an SEO strategy and pursue a wide range of SEO activities for our website?  If you were to ask most business and website owners that question, the answer would likely be the obvious, “So I rank higher in the search results and make more money.” The chances are that asking that question would actually get you many strange looks, too.
There is more to SEO than merely getting yourself near to the top of Google’s rankings. In fact, the ways it helps your customers and site visitors are probably more powerful, and a much bigger reason for actually ‘doing SEO’ in the first place.
Search Without the Search Engines
SEO is probably named incorrectly. The reason we say this is because the very best SEO strategies spend little time considering what the search engines are actually looking for. This is just the way Google and the others want it to be, too.
The best websites, and so the ones that enjoy the best rankings, are actually the ones that are put together solely with the customer in mind. You will find loads of old tutorials that talk about ‘optimizing for search engines’ versus ‘optimizing for human visitors’ and how to achieve both. The truth is that they are both the same thing; the difference is that the search engines are now closer to human than ever before.
SEO Directs Customers
A customer searches a term in Google, and the most relevant results appear on their screen. If you are one of those, then you have a chance of making a sale or receiving an enquiry from that customer.
A quality SEO plan will ensure that you are appearing in relevant search results, ensuring that you can connect with new customers and retain existing ones who might have bought from you but forgotten your brand name. If you rank well for what they bought, then they are going to find you once more.
SEO Engages People
Think about the things that you see being spoke about when you hear or read SEO top tips. The thoroughness of content, the value of using a variety of content including photography and videos, and producing regular content all rank highly on the list of great SEO factors.
Aside from that, it also engages your customers and makes them want to spend time on your site. An informative blog will build trust and strengthen your customer relationship. A video or photo gallery might be a refreshing change-up from your usual content, and remind people why they love your brand – it will also probably earn social shares, too. Regular content of any type, as long as it is good, brings people back repeatedly and helps your customers feel like they are a part of your brand.
SEO in 2013
The reality of SEO in 2013 is that it is more about people and customers than ever before. Everything you do should be with your target audience in mind. Who are you selling to? Joe Bloggs on the street, or a Google search spider?

Internet Marketing: Tips for beginners to speed up writing time

Sometimes, we do feel that penning down an article for our website takes a really long time. And, with that, we do have other chores to cope up with. So, the clear solution is to speed up the writing time. Well, it is much easier to say that than doing it. Hence, below are some tips given for you to speed up your writing time. Read on to know.
Create a plan or outline
First of all, before you start writing, you need to plan what you are going to include. Build the material for your article. For example, in case you are writing an article which explains how to do something, then you need to plan carefully as to what steps you will be including. Or, if you are writing an informative article, then you need to pre-plan the information which you will be writing. Planning does not take much time and it will reduce half of your writing time.
Set a timer to keep you focused
Many times, we take a long time to write because we get easily distracted by things. So, it would do well if you set a timer. By doing this, you can pay attention to your writing work and be focused. Just decide the time as to when you have to finish your article and then set the timer.
Work in blocks
Well, I agree that we sometimes feel overwhelmed to write content continuously. So, instead of writing it all together, you can break it into small parts. For example, let’s say that you currently have to work on ten articles. But first, you can work on 3 or 4 and take a break. Then, write another 3 or 4 and take another break. You need to take frequent breaks so that you do not stress yourself.
Edit later
Always, remember not to edit while you write. In case you do, then you will gradually slow down in your writing. And, it also interrupts your flow and thinking capacity. So, it is better if you keep on writing until you are finished. After you are fully done, you can edit the grammar, spelling or clarity. By following this, you will be saving a lot of time.
Write when you feel most productive
It is always good to write when you feel that you are more energetic and focused. In case you think of writing whenever you are feeling low, then I bet that you will be going slowly. You should write in the morning if you a morning person and at night if you are a night person.
Make writing a priority
Do you practice writing as a career or hobby? In case it is your hobby, then it is obvious that you do not feel any urgency to finish it. So, you take your own time writing it. If it is your career, then you will have to finish it to earn your bread. Hence, by hook or by crook, you sit and complete it. So, make writing a priority.
Well, to conclude, all I can say is that writing fast does take a lot of practice. You need to focus on it and also commit. If you follow the tips mentioned above, you will surely speed up your writing time as a beginner.

But a negative result will come out if the link gets stuffed with too much stock of information. Never try to put in too muck stock into one single link as it makes the link look clumsy and navigation becomes tough so audience pays less attention to the link.

How to Make Money Online With WordPress and Other Blogging Sites

Blogging has taken off quite quickly on the cyber space. From its humble beginnings somewhere in the nineties it has morphed into a much larger phenomenon on the World Wide Web. Today, it is a method of making money, among other things, and there are many ways you can go about it. Wordpress is the best platform for free blogging. Thousands of bloggers all over the globe use it to enhance and empower their blogs. This free blog provider can help you earn a good amount of income, if you understand how to make optimum use of it.

1st step – position it well
It is the most obvious and important thing when you want to make money from your blog – place it on the right website, chose the correct niche. Unless you list your blog on the right kind of paid or free classified website or link it to the right category of classified ads; the search engines may never find you or pick your blog.

2nd step – Using WordPress
Create a WordPress blog. Although, it is completely free, you still need to have a website. You can choose a paid or free classified website. You can also use the WordPress.com for free hosting. It is hundred percent free.

3rd step – Get started
After you have set up WordPress, you must select a theme. You will find a host of themes on most paid and free classified websites. WordPress too offers a host of them. Choose the one that best suits your blog topic. Next thing to do is installing the widgets. They are a special feature of WordPress and have unique specifications. The widgets that you must have are – SEO, anti spam, Cache and Backup. There are many more widgets for you to pick from but you are at a liberty to take or leave the rest of them. Once you are equipped with your niche, website and widgets; you can start writing.

4th step – Traffic
We all know what traffic means on the World Wide Web. You may have the best of writing skills and brains but if your only visitors to the blog are your family and friends, it won’t bring you anything. So get going and recommend your blog to the top search engines. Use social media like Facebook, Twitter and others to publicize your blog.

Another very effective way to attract traffic to your blog is to use free classified ads and free classified websites. These options do not take much time and allow you to display your blog at thousands of top listed sites.

5th step -- Monetize
By now your blog should be ready, hosted, displayed and should be attracting decent traffic. It is time to cash in on your efforts. The most common way to generate that income is advertising and Google AdSense is quite popular. Clicksor is next in line and gives quite a healthy competition to AdSense. Next in line is InfoLinks which is actually pretty good. It works by choosing random keywords in your blog and highlighting them. Visitors are allowed to click on these and this results in generating income for the Webmaster (you). You just need to make sure that the classified ads on your blog do not end up overpowering and swamping it. You should not allow more than twenty percent of the space to be utilized by the classified ads.

Finally, remember the more you write the more you have the chances of attracting more visitors and having more traffic and the more ads clicking will mean more money. So, get going and rake in that precious traffic/money.

How do I get the best price when shopping?

Getting the best price while shopping online is a tricky affair. There are so many online sites that you are spoilt for choices. You do not understand which site offers the best price. Interestingly, every site advertises their prices as being one of the lowest!

If you want to get a good deal, be prepared for some work and patience. This enables you to save money and time. You can also rely on web applications that fetch the best deals from various online stores on the Internet.

Monitor price information
Don’t say no to newsletters that have the latest information on price. In fact, you can subscribe to any type of newsletter that is connected with electronic items. Newsletters generally have information on which stores are offering the lowest prices.

Another option is to create a Google alert to find the best deal. You create this alert and set your Gmail account as the alert recipient. Whenever a good deal comes by in any part of the Internet universe, you can be rest assured that you will receive the alert in your inbox.

Try to learn how to use websites that notify you on price drops and which compare products. Just search for these types of websites on the Internet. Some of these sites graphically represent price fluctuations using a graph. You can use this graph to predict an upcoming price increase or drop.

Use plug-in software that provides you updated price information
There are many deal sites. But how do you know that a particular deal site has all the information you need? Therefore, you use plug-in software that searches all deal sites, and provides you a summarized report on price analysis. You operate the plug-in via your browser program.

Plug-in software reports generally have a comprehensive analysis of the price movements of the type of electronic item you have chosen. It may also suggest you alternative buying options. You cannot expect ready recommendations though. Therefore, you have to do some manual research on your own. But this is better than searching millions of deal sites!

Google Product Search
Formerly known as Froogle, this price comparison search engine is used more than ever nowadays. This service allows you to find products easily on the web and compare price ranges. You can find products that match your criteria too. For instance, if you want to know if a premium phone is being sold cheap, you can do a search on the Google Product Search engine.

You will get authentic information when comparison shopping. You may never get such information even on deal sites. Importantly, the information that the engine fetches is accurate and updated to a great extent. It is free of cost and you can use it at your mercy.

Price comparison apps
Another popular alternative to find the best price when online shopping is to use price comparison apps. Most apps are web based. They are either in the form of plug-ins or downloadable alert clients. Since there are scores of such apps, you will need to do some online research on finding the right one.

The Guest post is contributed by Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, a tech critic, social media enthusiast and an Internet Marketing professional, Currently working with iShopper.com - India's leading product and price discovery engine for that provides an unique way to compare products and find their best prices.

How iPhone5 works as victim of hackers

The Apple’s iPhone 5 after lots of buzz and hype when launched in the market was claimed to be cracked by an American man called Grant Paul and that too in less than eight hours after the devices was released in public. This man, who did this, is a software developer for Apple’s operating system iOS was seen posting the images of jail broken iPhone 5 images over his Twitter page. This makes the newly launched device iPhone 5 stands in the category of iPhone 4S, which is reported to be vulnerable to attacks carried out by from some malicious web pages that is developed to steal the user’s profile picture, browsing history and contacts and send it back to the remote server. Let’s further dig how iPhone 5 works as a victim of hackers.

The new iPhone 5 a vulnerable device
Both iPhone 4s and 5 seems to be vulnerable devices, which was proved at the EUSecWest conference held in Amsterdam on September 19th last year. During this conference something interesting happened. Two researchers from Dutch security were seen exploiting the entire patched iPhone 4s without much hassle. These guys- Joost Pol and Daan Keuper from computer security company called as Certified Secure based at Hague claimed that they were even successful in hacking the iOS 5.1.1, used in the iPhone 5 along with going one more step ahead by cracking the advance version of iOS 6, which were given to the developers team a couple of months before. Both these guys were seen further claiming that the devices like iPads too are vulnerable to similar attacks.

How they did this?
As per the experts, there is a gap which is seen in the mobile web browser over iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S, which simply allows the installation of ‘drive by’ malware without even informing or allowing the users to know. The malicious code, which technically falls in the category of drive by download simply could be developed in small amount of time and could be embedded anywhere over any site to enter inside the Apple’s devices. When the codes were placed over any ad or graphic section of a blog, which is visited by any mobile Safari browser, the code easily figures out the workaround for the signing and sandboxing mechanisms of this mobile browser. The duo demonstrated how exactly they did this entire nasty affair and said that it involved a zero day exploit, which is certainly not known to many of the security experts.

The repercussions of this malicious attack
The consequences of this attack over your iPhone 5 or iPhone 4s device is simply outrageous. If the iPhone device users seen visiting such sites or blogs carrying this particular malware, it takes little amount of time to wreck the havoc inside these phones even without allowing them to know about this hacking process. The attack simply extracts all your classified information and contact details to a great extent. However, as the email and SMS inboxes are encrypted, hence these remain secure from these attacks carried out by the malicious sites.

Final word
Experts including these two guys feel that such kind of vulnerability is also found at other smartphone devices like BackBerry and Android phones, but the fact is these are not tested unlike the iPhone devices. If this is the case, it’s high time for the companies like Apple to take this as a challenge and make their iPhone devices more full proof so that it cannot become the victims of hackers.
